Air Jordan Retro 7 - "Year of the Rabbit"

After 16 years of being shelved, the "Hare" Air Jordan VII returned to retail 2008 as part of the Jordan Brand's "Countdown Package" series. Less than 3 years later, the shoe kinda makes another return, this time in the form of the "Year of the Rabbit" Air Jordan Retro 7. The colorway of the shoe is definitely switched up a bit, but the concept that inspired its look is easy to recognize.

Like a similarly themed Air Jordan 2011 that dropped back in February, the YOTR Retro 7 comes complete with metallic gold accents, a Year of the Rabbit crest stitched behind the tongue and special China-inspired packaging. They'll see a release in Asia on May 1st and stateside on May 7th.

Bring ‘em Back: Nike Air Diamond Fury

This weekend saw the return of the Nike Air Griffey Max II “Fresh Water”. Why not bring back another Junior classic? Though the Nike Air Diamond Fury doesn’t bare the Kid’s name in its description, the sneaker is synonymous with Griffey. More or less a PE, the Black/Fresh Water colorway sported a “JR” logo on the tongue and #24 on the ankle. Air Max cushioning and an aggressive design provide a 90s look and certified neck breaker. Yo Nike, bring ‘em back!
